Country Hollow Equestrian Center, Owner/Operator, 3 years.
A 20-acre boarding/training ranch in Lancaster, California with two large barns and a 200' X 400' indoor arena, as well as outdoor competition arena and corresponding training facilities. Five other professional trainers and I trained horses and riders in various forms of equitation; i.e., dressage, jumping, barrel racing, teampenning, roping, English and Western.

Under my care, up to 70 horses were boarded on the property. We also held monthly horse shows, jackpots and competitions open to the public and published a monthly newspaper with results of events and news of the accomplishments of our boarders and friends.

  Our Wonderful Loyal Gang
I can say that our drivers are some of the most experienced and capable (as well as the best-looking) in the state. Drivers are always dressed professionally to fit the situation whether the event is formal with tuxedos and top hats or Western with cowboy hats.

Wendy & Tens

I can proudly say my drivers and assistants are also my "family" and best friends. Jeremy and Tiffany have been driving for me since 1995. Wendy and Laurie have been driving carriages in Scottsdale before I took over in 1999. Chera (not shown) has been with us since 2005, coming from a carriage company in Denver.
Jamie has been with us since 1999, and driving for us since 2004.

And there are others who help whenever needed to haul trailers or drive safety vehicles (follow a carriage with lights flashing on extremely fast and/or heavy traffic streets), help groom and feed the horses, and clean the carriages when our schedules are at their busiest.

  History of KC's Classic Carriage
KC's Classic Carriage Company started in 1993 with two Vis-a-Vis carriages chartering primarily for weddings. For two years, we worked Mill Avenue in Old Town Tempe, as well as taxiing fans from Cardinal and ASU games and the Fiesta Bowl. As more equipment and horses were acquired, contracts expanded to include the franchise for Old Town Scottsdale rides, some movie and TV appearances, the Fiesta Bowl Parade, Super Bowl Parade, Parada del Sol, Phoenix APS Fiesta of Lights, Tempe Fantasy of Lights, Tucson Rodeo Parade, as well as many other chartered events in Arizona and California including the annual Santa Barbara Old Spanish Days Parade and Fiesta.

  Perfect Safety Record
KC's Classic Carriage Company and Wagons Express carry $2,000,000 public liability. There have been NO accidents or incidents in the history of the company.

  How We Get There
At the present time, KC's Classic Carriage Company and Wagons Express consists of six Vis-a-Vis carriages, a Cinderella Carriage, two surreys, two broughams, a sleigh, a trolley, hitch wagon, hay wagon, several classic antique coaches and carriages, and a variety of other wagons carrying up to 30 persons for hay rides, Christmas caroling and just plain fun!   And there's more...
The hardest working element of our business has grown to a herd of fourteen hayburners consisting of gentle, even-tempered Percherons and Belgians (each weighing from 2000 to 2300 lbs). Many hours go into training the horses to assure their safety on the streets before they ever carry passengers.

Each horse is shod with slip-proof rubber shoes to protect not only their legs from the hard-surface streets, but also the more delicate surfaces they may be required to walk on.

Harness and collars are studded with polished brass and/or polished chrome for a very smart look. And every carriage is equipped with discrete "diaper bags" to guarantee no waste left behind.
